Minister

Yaşar GÜLER was born in Ardahan in 1954. He graduated from Army Academy with the rank of Second Lieutenant in 1974 and from Signal Corps School in 1975.

Having served as Signal Platoon and Company Commander at various units between the years of 1975 and 1984, Yaşar GÜLER graduated from Army War College in 1986 and from Armed Forces College in 1988.

As a staff officer, he served as Chief of Operations at Internal Regional Command between 1986 and 1988, as Planning Officer at Evaluation and Inspection Division of the Army between 1988 and 1991, as Chief of Operations and Training Branch at the 12th Infantry Division between 1991 and 1992, as Internal Security Battalion Commander between 1992 and 1994 in Silopi, as Turkish Deputy Brigade Commander in Bosnia-Herzegovina between 1994 and 1995, as Project Officer at the Office of Military Senior Counsellor of the Presidency between 1995 and 1997...

Anadolu Turkish Maritime Task Force is Ready for Steadfast Dart 2026

As part of the NATO Allied Reaction Force, CATF and CLF duties are conducted by Turkish Naval Forces in 2025–2026. The Anadolu Turkish Maritime Task Force, comprising TCG Anadolu, TCG Derya, TCG Istanbul and TCG Kınalıada, is ready for Exercise STEADFAST DART-2026. Türkiye continues to strengthen NATO’s deterrence and rapid reaction force.
