AIRCRAFT ENGINE RENOVATİON/ OVERHAUL

Maintenence, repair, renovation and test activities for turbojet, turbofan, turboshaft, turboprop and piston engines are successfully performed in the workshops of factories affiliated to General Directorate of Military Factories specifically established for such works by their expert staff by using high technology (Plasma Spray, Flame Spray, Vacuum Heat Treatment, Activated Diffusion Healing (ADH), SWET Welding, Laser, CODEP Coating, Fluoride Ion Cleaning, Shot Peening, Induction Braze) and in compliance with the quality certificates.
Within the scope of maintenance and repair activities, engines are controlled and examined and then all of their parts can be disassembled in compliance with technical bulletins and work cards published. Spare parts are replaced according to criteria such as flight hours, time limit, wearing, damage etc. After the maintenance activities are completed, test cell tests are made on all engines in compliance with the performance criteria in the manufacturer technical bulletins.
2nd Air Maintenance Factory Directorate performs test cell activities in computer based environment up to 750 HP and also performs computer controlled precise balancing activities with Hoffman Horizontal and Verticle Balancing Machine. Verticle balancing activities by the verticle balancing machine up to diameter of 153cm and weight of 113,4kg and Horizontal balancing activities by horizontal balancing machine up to length of 2,5m and weight of 135kg are performed for the materials.

Belowmentioned nondestructive inspection methods are performed for the inspection of parts procured to be used on the aircrafts and used on aircrafts and for technical bulletins applications which shall be performed for the parts in use.
