MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR ACTIVITIES FOR AIR DEFENCE, NAVIGATION AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS

3rd Air Maintenance Factory Directorate performs depot level maintenance activities for belowmentioned various type radars, HAWK, RAPCON, TACAN and electronic devices and calibration, maintenance and repair activities for various units of navigation systems and communication systems.

For the systems mentioned below we perform maintenance, repair and renovation activities in the factory on;

Transmitter-receiver stages of stationary and mobile RADARs which are the most important element of air defence,

Data display devices,
-
Printed circuit cards,
-
Ground tactical and air navigation units (TACAN, ILS) which determine direction for aircrafts in all-weather conditions,
-
RADAR-controlled approach RAPCON-GCA systems which enable that aicrafts land on the runway in a controlled and precise manner,
-
Identification friend or foe (IFF) systems.
Furthermore on-site troubleshooting, maintenance and repair activities for those systems are performed by constituted mobile teams.
