Maintenance, production, renovation and test activities for ballistic protection products (helmet, vest, helicopter floor armour etc.) and renovation of inflatable boats are performed in 8th Main Maintenance Factory Directorate. 

TEST ACTIVITIES

All kinds of tests and process controls for the products under the responsibility of 8th Main Maintenance Factory Directorate are performed by the Quality Management Directorate.

Determination of ballistic products capabilities and ballistic test activities for the products of other TAF/private sector organisations and institutions are performed.

Ballistic bullet tests included by NIJ 0101.04, NIJ 0101.06, NIJ 0108.01, TS EN 1063 ve STANAG 4569 standards and fragment tests included by MIL662F, TS-13349 ve STANAG 2920 are performed.
