Turkish rescue ship TCG Alemdar, participating in Italian Smerex-2025 Submarine Search and Rescue Invitation Exercise (INVITEX), hosted by Italy on September 22-26, 2025, paid a port visit to Split, Croatia, on September 28-30 following the exercise.

As part of the visit, our personnel paid courtesy calls to the Military Attaché and the Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Türkiye in Zagreb, and briefed the cadets of the Croatian Military Academy on the capabilities of TCG Alemdar.
