As part of the 8th activation activities of the Mine Countermeasures Black Sea (MCM Black Sea) Task Group established by Türkiye, Bulgaria, and Romania to ensure maritime security against the mine threat in the Black Sea, the flagship TCG Üsteğmen Arif Ekmekçi and the minehunter TCG Ayvalık are visiting the Port of Burgas/Bulgaria, together with other MCM Black Sea units between January 11-14, 2026.

During the port visit, our ships are also conducting various training activities.

As a guarantor of peace and stability in the Black Sea, the MCM Black Sea Task Group continues to play a crucial role in ensuring regional security.
