1.  Efes-2026 Exercise is being conducted as a combined, joint, and live-fire exercise in İstanbul and İzmir between April 11 - May 21, 2026 (Computer Assisted Phase: April 11-17, 2026, Actual Field Phase April 20-May 21, 2026).

2. The purpose of the exercise is to enhance the level of preparation for combat of military capabilities and assets of joint headquarters and units formed together with the elements of participating countries in combined and joint operations, covering the completion of all assigned tasks.

3. The largest exercise of the Turkish Armed Forces, the EFES Exercise will be attended by the Ministry of National Defense, the Turkish General Staff, the Land Forces Command, the Naval Forces Command, the Air Forces Command, the Special Forces Command, the Gendarmerie General Command, the Coast Guard Command, other Ministries, public institutions/organizations and non-governmental organizations, as well as 45 countries.

4. The “Live-Fire Field Phase Distinguished Visitor’s Day” of the exercise will be carried out on 20 and 21 May 2026. A briefing on the exercise will be given to members of the press at the press information center, which is to be opened at the Konak Officer's Club/İzmir on May 20, 2026 at 13.00.

5. On the other hand, within the scope of the exercise, the Defense Industry Exhibition will be held between 16-21 May 2026 at the Doğanbey Exercise Area, Seferihisar/İzmir, under the responsibility of the Secretariat of Defense Industries. The exhibition will be open to the public on 17 and 18 May 2026.
