1. The Locked Shields 2026 Exercise was conducted under the coordination of the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (Tallinn, Estonia) between 20–24 April 2026.

2. In the exercise, in which we have participated since 2014, cyber defense measures against various cyberattack scenarios targeting cyber assets and critical infrastructures were tested. Also, with the participation of cyber experts from the The Republic of Türkiye Directorate of Communications, the Directorate of Cyber Security, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the Turkish Armed Forces, public institutions/organizations, and companies operating in the cybersecurity sector, our capabilities in cyberspace were successfully evaluated. As in previous years, the exercise also aimed to maximize inter-agency information sharing and coordination, which are indispensable for the protection of our Cyber Homeland.
