Personnel of Turkish Naval Forces are carrying out duties in the search and rescue area under Senegal’s responsibility in order to provide search and rescue training and support to the Senegalese Armed Forces. Within this framework, training flights are conducted over Senegal’s airspace and maritime jurisdiction areas.

On 4 March 2026, Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Maritime Surveillance activities were carried out with the participation of Senegalese aircrew personnel in order to reinforce mutual cooperation and trust.
