A respected ally for world peace!
Our country has continued to make significant contributions to NATO, of which it has been a member since 18 February 1952.
As the country with the second-largest army in NATO, Türkiye ranks among the top five contributors to NATO through its support to NATO operations and missions.
As a strong and reliable member of NATO, our country will continue to make substantial contributions to the Alliance, as it has done in the past.
