The 9th activation of the Black Sea Mine Countermeasures Task Group (MCM BLACK SEA), operating under the Turkish Naval Forces Command, is being conducted between 24 March and 4 April 2026.

As part of the activation, TCG Ütğm. Arif Ekmekçi and TCG Ayvalık, together with ROS Ion Ghiculescu and BGS Priboy, carried out mine countermeasures (MCM) operations, including reconnaissance and surveillance, replenishment at sea training, and advanced maneuver training aimed at enhancing the operational capabilities of the participating units.
